Build yourself a boat out of cardboard and plastic bottles and paddle it across the Middle Brighton Harbour without sinking!  And if you do sink, many do, make sure you sink with style and go in the running for The Titanic Award for the most spectacular sinking. It's the Recycle Regatta - in MARCH 2025. It's fun and a great way to be creative in building your boat on your own or with a team of mates. The event is a fundraiser for our BIG GOAL of providing the TEEN Mental Health First Aid Program in our local secondary schools.

The event will truly bring us all together around a common cause and participating in the day is sure to leave you feeling inspired. Come and watch the action, join in the laughter and make your donation to our BIG GOAL.

What better way to end the summer!

WHAT is the Recycle Regatta?

WHY participate?

The Recycle Regatta is a fun and creative activity to support our BIG GOAL whether you’re a master boat builder or prefer to stay on land. The Recycle Regatta is meant to inspire boat teams to work together, employing creativity and ingenuity, to get their boat to cross the finish line, and land lovers will be able to cheer on their favourite boat from the beach or pier.

There is lots of laughter whether you are a paddler, helping boats get off the beach and racing, or cheering from the sidelines.

You can make a donation towards our BIG GOAL, sponsor a boat, or a particular paddler.

We have prizes a plenty, for the most spectacular sinking, the best dressed crew, as well as first and second prize in each race.

Get involved. We look forward to you being part of the fun.
